It’s funny how marketing tactics play tricks on us. It’s common for people to become obsessed with a product because of the packaging. In this case, McDonald’s customers became obsessed with the limited time offered Rick and Morty Szechuan Sauce, just because pictures of the television show’s characters were on the package.
When a limited-time offer like this is announced in fast-food stores, customers go nuts and visit the restaurant as many times as they can to enjoy the offer as many times as possible. Managers love the massive swarms of customers that the staff must endure for the duration of the offer’s availability.
