This is a problem not exclusive to McDonald’s employees. If there’s one thing anyone who has worked in the service industry knows, it is how much people suck sometimes. These workers invented the term, “Karen” which is an obnoxious, angry, and entitled customer who uses their privilege to demand special treatment. They often ask to speak to the manager.
The more bad customers you deal with, the more you come to appreciate the kind regulars you see every day. The kind customers are more understanding to the person behind the counter because they’ve worked in the service industry themselves, and they don’t want to be that person who ruins an employee’s day.
