Pricey Parenting
While parenthood is rewarding, nobody ever said it was cheap. Sure, there are lots of free things you can find to do around the house or out at the park, but parents often end up splurging on experiences to give their kids those Kodak moments at theme parks, amusement centers, and holiday festivals.
But Ramblin Mama sees through all the holiday advertising and is calling out pumpkin patches for the wallet drains they really are. She knows she could do the same thing on the cheap with a couple of pumpkins from Walmart and a trip to the playground where her kids could pet a dog and fall off a jungle gym instead. It just doesn’t look as good on social media.
