Don’t Stop Me Now
Along with McDonald’s ads, road signs are often vandalized. And it’s pretty easy to alter a stop sign–I mean, there are so many phrases with the word “stop” in them. This graffiti artist, perhaps inspired by the band popular Queen, wrote “Don’t stop me now,” on the stop sign, giving it a bit of a different meaning.
We wonder if this graffiti artist had any other music-inspired phrases they considered writing. Perhaps “Stop in the name of love,” or “Stop, collaborate and listen” were contenders. Regardless, although it’s clear that they didn’t want the stop sign to stop them, it’s only safe to stop when you encounter a road sign that instructs you to do so.
