Years after unveiling their iconic “Drink Responsibly” campaign, to teach and encourage young people to drink responsibly, Guinness has come up with a new campaign, more suitable to our society these days, “Enjoy Responsibly. Phones Down, Please.” It seems as if these days, we’re too occupied with our phones, we’ve forgotten how to enjoy the moment.
Everything needs to be documented, every time we go out we have to take photos and share them immediately on social media, and we just can’t seem to take our eyes (and our minds) off our screens for over ten minutes. Guinness is here to remind us not to drink responsibly, but to enjoy responsibly – and that means putting our phones away (in a tower that resembles a tall glass of beer).
