Meditation is jam-packed with benefits for youngins, old-timers, and everyone in between. It only takes a few minutes a day and leads to better sleep quality, reduces stress, and aids in self-regulation. So take a deep breath in, then out, and let the waves wash over you, carrying your weightless body out to sea, leaving your troubles far behind.
Maybe the instructions were unclear because u/hrhomer’s niece’s mind isn’t at any ocean we want to travel to. We never imagined we’d have to specify the waves should be water. Fun fact to soothe your fears: The girl in this story wasn’t meditating. She visited an exhibit on the circulatory system earlier in the day and was reflecting on what she had learned. Smart kid!
