Cringe-Worthy Text Message Exchanges Between People and Their Landlords

It isn’t ever cool for a landlord to tell a tenant that they need to move out that same day. A person needs some notice so they have time to pack and find a new place to head to. There is most likely a clause in the lease agreement that states the landlord needs to give a certain amount of notice when a tenant is being evicted.

And to dump that on somebody on the same day they lose their job is absolutely heartless. Looking at the date, this was probably the worst time on earth for a person to be told they need to leave their apartment. To be fair to the landlord, though, having a tenant ask to keep living there after learning they lost their job is a good reason to feel nervous about letting them stay.
