Cringe-Worthy Text Message Exchanges Between People and Their Landlords

We can’t get over how many landlords on this list have crossed the line into inappropriate comments or behavior. To be fair, we’ve seen plenty of tenants have rudely ignored boundaries, as well. However, this may be one of the most disturbing cases of a landlord being inappropriate. What is wrong with people?

At first, this seems like an innocent exchange between a landlord and his new renter. But he ends it on an incredibly creepy, offensive note. Telling this new renter that he wants to be her husband is crossing the line big time. For her sake, we seriously hope she did change her mind after all and not sign the lease.
