Pour Some Sugar On Me
In the U.S. the term “iced tea” usually means sweet tea and will contain some sugar or corn syrup in order to give it a sugary flavor. We’re not saying this is how everyone in the United States drinks tea, but it’s a pretty common beverage. This Starbucks customer is out here redefining the meaning of sweet tea, though.
They ordered a venti iced green tea, which is the largest size at Starbucks. It all seemed fine and well until they asked for 23 Stevia sweeteners to be added to the drink. Stevia might be a natural sweetener, but that doesn’t mean it’s super good for you, especially in large quantities. Hopefully, this guy visits his dentist regularly and this was a one-time treat.
