Who’s Wrong hHere?
However, it’s not every time a customer acts out because they’re rotten to the core. This customer felt cheated out of 83¢ in change and decided that their waiter didn’t deserve a bigger tip. You could argue that 83¢ is hardly anything, but it’s the principle that counts. If you lose 83¢ every time you shop or dine out, how much will you lose over a year?
If this backstory is true, we don’t blame the customer at all. However, this person did commit one error that we’ll never forgive. There’s no “could of,” “would of,” or “should of.” It’s could/would/should have!
