So Why Dine Out?
There’s one thing that annoys us to no end: those who shop or dine out when they’re on a tight budget. It’s fine to splurge once or twice a month, but if you’re squeezing every penny, you should stick to your budget a little better. This wouldn’t be a problem if restaurants and bars pay their staff a livable wage, but that’s a completely different story.
Now, if you’re eating out, the staff expect you to leave a tip. If you don’t, you’re cheating the staff out of making real money for their efforts. Not only that, but how much would a tip on a $5.00 bill really be? If leaving a $0.50 tip, or even one whole dollar is going to break your budget, then you probably shouldn’t be dining out in the first place.
