People Reveal Why They Cut Off All Contact With Their Parents

April 18, 2020 by Elizabeth Grillo

Homeless Mom Wasting Money

This Redditor had a difficult upbringing, having been homeless and living in poverty as a child. They worked really hard to secure a job while still in high school, and they even gave up half of their regular pay to help their mother. She was already doing a lot to give her mother or helping him in trying to fulfilled the expenses of the household but I guess it wasn’t enough that it cost her her peace of mind.

Instead of using the money to pay rent, their mother squandered it, and as a result, the family was forced to relocate. Could you imagine taking advantage of your own child in this manner? This is a truly horrifying tale to be told. They should have been able to find peace and stability together, perhaps.
