#18: Pulled Back
We know that seatbelts can save lives, and we’re not here to bash them. We’re here to talk about this very specific and annoying thing that sometimes happens with a seatbelt, which this person described perfectly: when you pull slightly too hard, there’s a feedback response that locks the seatbelt for a few seconds.
We’re not sure whether this is a random seat belt flaw or an intended safety mechanism installed by car manufacturers. We want to think there’s a reason behind this, and it isn’t just a flaw, as that might make us feel a little less foolish and frustrated the next time it happens.
