#17: Woodstock
when you think of the 60s and 70s, one of the main things that come to mind is probably the Volkwagon Beetle. Such an iconic car, that was very much a car for the average person. And considering that Woodstock happened on the brink between the two decades, we’re sure there were many Beetles there in New York.

Seeing this woman sleeping on the roof of a Volkswagon Beetle looks like such an iconic scene. We can almost imagine what it would be like at that moment when you are trying to find a moment of solitude in one of the busiest places on earth.
