#49: Woodstock
One of the main associations people have with festivals is that they and their patrons are all environmentally conscious and want to have a good time, spent in nature. This might be true in theory, but in reality, these sorts of festivals usually end in a pretty shape.
This is a picture of the aftermath of Woodstock in 1969, and to be honest, it is rather shocking. From all the pictures and videos, you assume that these people genuinely care about mother nature. Maybe they just wanted to have a good time and that’s it. We hope Max and Miriam Yasgur weren’t screwed over too much by this…
