A Rough Job
This former prep cook can never order prawns or calamari at a restaurant. He shared that prepping and deveining prawns and calamari were his least favorite tasks. As a result, he refuses to order these two dishes because he doesn’t want the poor prep cook in the back to experience what he had to go through all those years ago.
This advice is purely based on personal preference. Some people love the prep work that goes into these dishes, and they responded to the OP by saying that they don’t mind when customers order them. Another person said that customers shouldn’t avoid ordering certain dishes because they’re afraid the employees won’t “like” it. Employees are there to do their jobs, and whether or not they like a task is irrelevant.
