We are already aware that Dr. Facilier was based on ‘the King of Pop’ Michael Jackson, but we also know that Dr. Facilier was based on multiple people. One of those people is fellow performer Usher. Along with musician Cab Calloway and Baron Samedi as mentioned earlier.

Animator Bruce W. Smith revealed that when drawing Dr. Facilier he wanted the character to have a more fluid movement and was inspired by both MJ and Usher. He wanted the character to be able to scurry across the screen.
