A heads up would’ve been nice
Depending on the materials used, an oxygen tank with 80 cubic feet of air weighs between 28 and 35 pounds. This seems like one of those things you diving instructor would inform you of before you plop into the ocean. But for some reason, the thought escaped this instructor’s mind.
What ended up happening was the women in this dive team began sinking to the bottom of the ocean. Even with a safety rope to grasp onto, they wound up bumping into the person below them. So, it turns out that the equipment you brought to keep you alive in the water can also be the cause of your death.
