Switched at Birth
Alice Collins Plebuch always considered herself ethnically Irish. When she took a DNA test for fun, she was enlightened by the results that proved that she was a mix of European Jewish, Middle Eastern, and Eastern European. The confusion compelled her to coax the rest of her family to get DNA tested as well.

Together they discovered that Plebuch’s father was not the biological son of his parents. Plebuch investigated even further only to uncover the fact that her father and another baby at the hospital he was born at had been switched at birth. Many was able to read about the family’s story when it was reported by The Washington Post.
