Not On Board
Charli and Cullen admit that when they first told their respective families they were trying for children, not everyone was on board. While they could understand the couple’s longing to be parents, they also feared the children would suffer the most. Was it fair to knowingly put their children through the same struggles?
This debate is still raging in the dwarf community. Many little people put off having children because they don’t want their own to be afflicted with all the health problems that come with their size. And while all dwarves must learn to live with this, some people would rather not place the burden on their would-be children.
