Wet Dog Smell
As she followed, Tielli tried to make sense of the dog. He was wet, she could tell from the wet-dog smell coming off him. But he wasn’t drenched enough to have spent the night out in the storm. Tielli concluded he must have ventured out after the worst of the storm.
