Running Out Of Time
As the weather worsened, the town went into full lockdown. Waiting for Hurricane Harvey was like waiting for the Second Coming. News reports about the storm’s ferocity changed by the hour, getting worse each time. Rain lashed the tiny town, the sewers were slowly starting to overflow, and soon, local businesses were closed.
But far worse than any of that, was the incessant hot galeforce winds that kept hitting the town all day, every day. The mayor of the town had put in a preemptive call for national aid once the storm passed. Would there be anything left to save?
