The small pleasures in life
Excuse us for making this comparison, but much like babies and toddlers, dogs can get excited about the smallest and most mundane things. For example, when toddlers receive a present, they might be more excited about the wrapping paper than the present itself. It’s a beautiful thing to watch babies admire those small things.

The same goes for dogs. They don’t need fancy toys to play with, and often when we buy them expensive chewing toys, they’d still rather chew our slippers. This dog gets excited every autumn when his family is raking up the leaves, and for him, playing with those leaves is the best game he could think of.
