Brand-name cereals are expensive, way more than they actually cost to make. That makes us tempted to buy cereal in dollar stores, but you should pay attention to package sizes and weights. You see a regular-sized box, but you find out that it’s almost empty inside when you open it.
Also, check the ingredients. They often contain way more sugar than they ought to, just to cover up for the lack of flavor. They sometimes use glucose syrup as a thickener, and some experts say it’s even worse than sugar.
