You probably don’t need expensive tools, they’re mostly intended for professionals. Let’s face it: most of us don’t need to use tools very often. Once in a while, when you actually need them, you would like a hammer that won’t fall apart with the first hit or a screwdriver that won’t wear out after one turn.
So, some mid-range tools are some good price-quality compromise. Good tools will probably last for many years, some of them even have life-long guarantees. Cheap dollar shop tools often don’t even survive their first use and then you have to buy new ones. Where’s the saving in that?
