Steak
As most of the food in dollar shops, frozen steaks should be avoided. $1 for a 3.5-ounce frozen steak is tempting, but it’s not really worth it. Why? Because 30% of the weight is a solution of water, salt, and sodium phosphate.
The manufacturers do it to add weight to their products. You can check that by lifting the stake. It’s incredibly thin, and yet it weighs 3,5 ounces. This is a scam. They are selling you meat and giving you a water solution. But there is no law against that. The other issue is that this solution is not very healthy, and you are better off without it.
