By now we all know that Catherine Walker is the duchess’ go-to designer when she needs a lovely coat or coatdress. In 2021 Kate commissioned two variations of the same dress from Catherine Walker, one black and one red. She wore the black version to the memorial of Prince Philip after his unfortunate passing.

She wore the red version, pictured here, on the 8^th of December 2021 to the Christmas Carol Service at Westminster Abbey. Always dressed for the occasion, Kate looked festive and elegant in this red coat. The Catherine Walker Instagram refers to this red dress with a large tie on the front as their “Christmas Dress.”
