Correcting the Wrong Person
Some people just can’t help but correct everyone and everything around them. We all know those people. Some of us are those people. They just can’t stand to hear (or see) grammar and spelling mistakes. This woman’s mother is one of those people. Oh, she’s one of those people big time.
Not everyone wants to be corrected, and not everything requires it. In fact, most of the time, even when a sign has spelling or grammar mistake, we can clearly understand what it means. And correcting strangers at the market is just rude and uncalled for. That’s probably what this woman was thinking when her mother pointed out to the vendor that he needed a new sign with appropriate apostrophes.
