What Year Is This?
The age-old debate: who should pay on a date? When it comes to first dates, we have a lot to consider: where do we go, what do we wear, and whether or not are we going to reach for the check. Some antiquated people believe that women don’t have to pay on first dates (or ever), and offering to pay is the guy’s responsibility.
This might have been true in the past, but those days are behind us, and we’ve now evolved as a society, or so we’d like to think. While there are people out there (mostly women) fighting for equality and women’s rights, some people still believe it’s the man’s job to pay for the woman. Why is that? If you have an explanation, we’d love to hear it.
