#46: It’s All in the Family
This is something we’ve actually never noticed until it was pointed out to us, and now we can’t unsee it. Almost all married couples in cartoons and animated TV look like family members. You rarely see interracial couples, and they all have the same facial features and hair color.

Why is that? Do they think otherwise we won’t believe they’re a married couple? Viewers might mistake them for just friends if they didn’t have the same features? Maybe it’s just easier for animators to make characters that look alike. Either way, it’s a pretty funny realization.
