Business Shouldn’t Stop
This person said that his boss expected to show up to work a day after his mother died. Which didn’t happen, of course, so this cold-hearted boss replaced him with someone else. Who does that? You cannot cut someone’s work hours without letting them know first.
And that too when the employer was taking days off for something as grave as the death of a family member. How can you just text them casually and tell them that they are no longer needed at the office full-time? This is straight-up unethical on the employer’s end.
