Cable subscriptions have been on the decline since streaming services began dominating our TV screens, giving viewers more control over what they watch. For a lot of parents, this means watching the same season of their kids’ favorite shows on repeat until they can recite them word for word and then groaning about it as if we haven’t streamed The Office twelve times through.
When I was a kid, my go-to’s were The Wizard of Oz and The Little Mermaid. I watched them so often that my mother lied and said one of the VHS tapes was lost and the other was broken. But we don’t live in the VHS age anymore. We’re digital now, and modern problems require modern solutions, like naptime for cartoons.
