The Secret Sibling
There are the cute lies parents tell to comfort their kids, and then there are the lies meant to scare us straight. If the lighter tricks like The Quiet Game or bribery fail to keep our mouths closed, mom and dad may resort to the long-lost secret sibling to hush us up.
The long-lost sibling is never found in any family photos, and they might not even have a name. The only thing we hear about them is the grave mistake they made that cut their branch off the family tree. Depending on your family, they may have been ditched on the side of the road or even returned to the kid factory.
