Eyebrow Raising Lies Parents Tell Their Kids

February 9, 2012 by Jade Parker

That’s One Way To Get To China

Grocery stores are a tactile funhouse for kids. There’s not a single one of us who didn’t delight in pulling the coupons from those auto-dispensing machines in every aisle. Digging the scoops around in the bulk section was like playing in a food sandbox. And then there are the card machines at the register with their rubbery, clicky buttons.

We can tell u/JohnnyHucky is an empathetic person because he didn’t want to trouble the cashiers with an unnecessary trip to China just to satisfy his pin pad pleasures. This easily could have backfired though, if he was so empathetic he thought the cashier needed a trip abroad. We also bet a lot of kids would have pushed those buttons to test the truth of this lie.
