In her short performing career in Broadway she was known by the stage name Diana Belmont, later on in her career she pivoted to television and became the beloved charismatic character of Lucy in I Love Lucy, her real name is Lucille Désirée Ball.
Believe it or not, our beloved Lucy had ornithophobia, which is the irrational fear of birds. She was diagnosed with ornithophobia after her father’s death. He died from typhoid fever at age 27 when Lucy was only three, but her memory of a bird getting trapped in her home the day her father dies was traumatic.
