As a kid he was bullied for his height of merely 4′ 10” but his Hollywood career made him an astounding $70 million so who’s laughing now? Those bullies must be licking their wounds now. Danny Devito can also brag about the fact that he was roommates with Michael Douglas, what an amazing brag right?
Not many actors get a movie specifically written for them as Danny got a movie and a role in “Get Shorty” mainly because the writer Scott Frank loved Devito’s confidence and the way he carried himself being charismatic and funny all at the same time. This is definitely a message for all short people out there, don’t let your height define you.
