This young lady was inspired by the United States’ effort during the Space Race when she wrote a letter to NASA asking what she could do to become an astronaut, only to find out that women were not being accepted into the program. Let’s not forget this was 1961.

You guessed right! Hillary Diane Rodham, aka Hillary Clinton, served as the 67th United States secretary of state and was a presidential nominee in the 2016 presidential election. Let’s not forget she was the first lady during the presidency of former President Bill Clinton.
