Covering the neck too much
When it comes to imperfections or places that we feel self-conscious about, the knee-jerk response is always to cover it up. Often that might mean adding lipstick, and sometimes that might mean expanding hemlines. But when it comes to fighting back against aging skin on one’s neck, occasionally covering up is not the best idea.
The skin on the necks loosens with age, and many choose to hide the signs of aging by wearing a lot of turtlenecks. However, the choice of fashion could add on to give a senior citizen look. The too-tight fit can draw attention to this problem area, and wearing a dark turtleneck could contrast the fading of one’s skin tone with a dark hue too harshly.
