Aloha
“Aloha” may be one of the first words that come to mind when you think about Hawaii, as it is a term exclusively used on the Hawaiian Islands. It has adopted several meanings over time, but it generally stands for “hello” and “goodbye” and is still used today to fill in those terms.
Maybe whole languages, but specific words usually aren’t part of a culture. But Aloha is very symbolic to the Hawaiian culture and lifestyle. Aloha also refers to acknowledgment and love of each other, while embracing all that life has to offer around you. The spirit of Aloha lives throughout Hawaiians and the local people.
