One Very Large State
Although Hawaii is a collection of eight islands, its size is actually larger than Texas in width rather than landmass, by twice its size, declaring it as the second widest state in the world when measured from east to west, behind Alaska. However, Texas is still much greater than Hawaii in size.
Texas is around 678,052 square kilometers, which Hawaii is exactly 16,635 square kilometers, making texas larger by 3,976 percent. Now, that’s pretty massive! Of course, besides the fact that their also American states, size is the only similarity between Hawaii and Texas. Otherwise, they are extremely different states.
