Pi Day At NASA
Pi Day falls on a Monday this year, which means many will be stuck in school or at their work desk, but that doesn’t mean they have to miss out. Fortunately for those who want to spend an entire day immersed in math (or five), NASA is holding an online event from Tuesday, March 10th to Tuesday, March 15th.
The space agency is challenging math nerds everywhere to step into the mindset of a NASA scientist and use π to solve tough problems. The answers are revealed on the last day, and there are plenty of free materials on their site to help get the curious started with their calculations.
