It wouldn’t be Pi Day without an actual pie to eat. March 14th is one of the biggest pie consumption days of the year, so naturally, the bakers of Instagram upload their creations en masse to show off their artistic culinary skills and the inventive ways they incorporate π into their recipes.
@sarahinthesnow served up this rhubarb custard delight to her followers with a unique challenge. She sculpted 39 of pi’s digits out of pie crust and spiraled them around, but she fell one number short of the 40 she intended and asked her followers to figure out the lone forgotten number.
