Not cleaning and scraping the grill
While we’re talking about grilling, here’s a pro tip that everyone should know. Always clean your grill’s grates after using. The longer you leave the gunk on the metal grate, the harder it will be to remove in the future. Not only does it make cleaning a chore, but it can also ruin any foods you cook prior to cleaning.
All of the caramelized juices and meats stuck on the metal grate will end up touching all of the meats and veggies you grill the next time. The darkened bits can end up on your new meat and cause it to burn easily.
