Rushing
We’ll level with you. Standing in a hot kitchen all day is not something many people can endure. If you can’t stand the heat, you have no choice but to if you want to feed your family. What this ends up doing is forcing home cooks to rush the cooking process, either by cutting veggies unevenly or cranking the stove to its highest heat setting.
Firstly, cutting your meats and veggies unevenly will lead to uneven cooking. There’s nothing worse than eating both soggy and next-to-raw veggies in one dish. Plus, if you turn the heat to the highest setting, your meats can have a wonderful crust but stay raw in the middle.
