Not drying salad before dressing
Homemade salads are great if you can get the recipe right. Usually, it involves finding the right combination of veggies, slicing and dicing them up, and slather the entire thing in a high-fat dressing. Now that’s the perfect way to enjoy a “healthy” salad!
However! If you find your salad dressing falling off of the green every time you pick it up, don’t blame the vinaigrette (just yet). The veggies are probably just too wet after you’ve given them a quick rinse under running water. You need to invest in a salad spinner to remove the excess moisture, otherwise you’re just eating greens with a diluted dressing, which is just as unappetizing as it sounds.
