I feel as if I need to repeat myself at this point: trying to be clever is not always the best solution when it comes to design. You just end up with unexpected consequences, and often, embarrassment.
Take this shop logo, for example. They probably wanted something cool and funky; a clever way of incorporating the two words together to show they were current. What they got was passersby thinking that their clothes would be a bit on the smelly side, which is not a great marketing tool.
