Hold to Start
What appears to have happened here was that the start button on this Kenmore washing machine stopped working, either due to a cracked button or faulty inner electronic components. Whatever the case, the owner didn’t let a little thing like easy-to-fix damage ruin their clothes-washing experience.
Clamps are incredibly versatile tools that have been used outside of woodworking shops. This person took a simple clamp to push the start button in and keep it in place. There doesn’t appear to be anything wrong with this system since, in the worst case scenario, the clamp falls and the owner will have to put it back in place. 100 points for this DIY engineer’s ingenuity!
