A Helical Mistake
According to the person across the street from us, helical piers have an advantage over concrete during the pre-construction phase. They supposedly reduce the amount of soil and landscaping you need to remove, and the installation process isn’t as loud. Plus, old helical piers are recyclable, assuming you can dig them out from the foundation of your home.
It appears that this homeowner won’t have any trouble recycling their helical piers, though they probably wish that weren’t the case. Due to a landslide of epic proportions, we can see the piers in all of their glory. They still look to be in good shape, it’s just that you’re not supposed to see them.
