Jeff Bridges, who played Obadiah Stane, called Iron Man a $200 million student film. Pretty harsh words from someone who actually starred in the movie, but knowing what we know about the movie now, that’s a pretty spot-on description. The first Iron Man movie was virtually shot without a script.

However, no matter how “amateurish” the first movie might’ve been, there’s no denying that RDJ is a talented actor. In fact, many of his adlibbed lines actually made the final cut! Kevin Feige, the head honcho of Marvel Studios, said that RDJ’s most iconic adlib was “I am Iron Man,” which was so true to the character that it changed the way the first movie ended.
