Written in Crayon
Sam Rockwell’s character in Iron Man 2, Justin Hammer, has stuck with us since the film’s release. The Wish version of Tony Stark isn’t that great of a supervillain, but he’s arguably the best character in the sequel. If you recall his sales pitch to Colonel Rhodey, then you might remember how he goes into a long monologue boasting the awesomeness of his weapons.
His final pitch is the Ex-Wife, a bullet that’s so incredibly intelligent that it would make Ulysses look like it was written in crayon, or so Justin says. The joke is that the novel Ulysses by James Joyce was had portions of it written in crayon since his eyesight was terrible.
